You might want to check out the HubChallenge here: http://HubPages.com/HubChallenge as I'm part of the HubChallenge team and it's a great way to get started - we've found that 30 Hubs will typically help anyone get off to a flying start by using the advice available to HubChallenge members and getting 30 hubs published in the first 30 or so days!
